Basantapur delight

On the busy streets of New Road, if you walk a few hundred meters ahead, you reach Basantapur; one of the core attractions of Kathmandu valley. With children running around and friends having tea on the pavements of the local tea shops to couples sitting on the pavement, this place just gives you good vibes. From the famous tea shops to fancy restaurants, needless to say, Basantapur holds something for everyone. One of the main aspects of why people are attracted to this part of the city lies in its architecture, which makes it feel like we have traveled back in time to the medieval period. This is a different world all on its own. You should surely visit this place to gain a taste of the culture of Nepal as well as its food. From Continental to the typical Nepali dishes, you get whatever you name! For a quick bite, you can get a lot of things for a cheap price. One of my favorites is Sekuwa.
